The northern edge skirts Park Lane Bus and Metro Interchange and then south down either side of Ryhope Road ass far as Backhouse park, then west nearly to Durham Road. The area is mostly residential ; there is a pub and a club however. It reopened in the summer of 2021 , with part of it being a craft bar with street food..
